High Recovery "Water Saver" 400gpd Reverse Osmosis System
High recovery low waste Brew Master "Water Saver" Reverse Osmosis Packages for beer makers from RainDance Water Systems. Standard Reverse Osmosis Membranes send 3-4 (sometimes more) gallons of water to the drain for each gallon of purified water produced. Our Brew Master Reverse Osmosis Packages are designed to save water and have a 1 to 1 ratio or greater on purified water to rejected water - Double the recovery over standard reverse osmosis elements.
All of our craft beer reverse osmosis systems are manufactured to be water efficient using the latest up to date membrane solutions software which includes expected recovery, waste water, permeate, concentrate water and operational pressure.
Craft Brewery RO Sizing:
A brewery barrel is about 31 gallons.
5bbl: A brew house capacity of 5 bbl (155 gallons) is the main requirement. It depends on how many batches you plan to run through the brew house per day (8 hour shift generally). If you will be running one batch per day at most then our 400gpd Brew Master RO system with a 300gal storage tank would be appropriate. It would take about 18 hours to fill the 300 gallon tank so if it were filled the night before you would have 300 gallons at the start of the day.

Why do craft beer breweries use our reverse osmosis systems? Breweries can control the quality and taste of their beer by purifying their water supply. Reverse osmosis removes the minerals in your water providing the Brew-Master with an empty canvas to compose the desired mineral profile from scratch by adding brewing salts such as calcium chloride, gypsum (calcium sulfate) and baking soda (sodium bicarbonate). Our Brew Master Reverse Osmosis Packages also feature a blending valve which allows you to dial-in your desired TDS levels.

Includes: 400gpd Compact Reverse Osmosis System - Provides 98-99% reduction of contaminants including salts, minerals, metals, and more. The RO system is controlled by the integrated Automated Control Panel for automated control of several system functions to help prolong the life of the RO motor and membrane, providing long-term and reliable operation. Built with superior engineering, this control panel eliminates confusing switches and lack of feedback provided by other generic RO systems.
Includes: The Automatic RO Control Panel allows the brew master to easily monitor the performance of their system by using easy-to-read light up indicators for common RO functions. Certain features such as the System Flushing and Low Pressure provide added protection by automatically cleaning the RO membrane and shutting the RO system off in events of low water pressure. Low water pressure can cause an RO system to cycle on and off which can burn out the motor and increase noise level. Other features like the RO Pump and Tank Full keep you informed when the system is running and you have a full tank of purified water. With automated control it has never been easier to operate a light commercial RO system! |

Hard Water Pretreatment Exclusively From RainDance Water Systems:
The RainDance PRO-125-10 custom water softener designed to pretreat & protect the RO system from prematurely fouling by removing hard water, rust, iron, manganese, and hydrogen gas odors - all of which will degrade the RO Membrane if not pre-treated. Of further importance, a standard water softener will allow unfiltered, untreated water to pass through the system if water is being used while the system is regenerating or backwashing. We have eliminated this problem! The RainDance PRO-125-10 comes complete with a pre-installed pretreatment lock-out switch that works in-conjunction with the RO System. The pretreatment lockout switch automatically shuts down the RO system while the softener is backwashing & regenerating, eliminating the fear of unfiltered hard water & iron going into the RO system and potentially fouling the membrane.
