RO/DI Water Systems are perfect for cosmetics manufacturing, laboratory water, make up supplies, fish aquariums, manufacturing, car wash spot-free rinsing and washing, cooling loops, battery filling, hydrogen generation, fuel cell, misting and humidification applications, de-ionized water type II to make cosmetic items and much more. Water purified by reverse osmosis has had often greater than 95% of dissolved ions and 99% of most contaminants removed. When the purification of reverse osmosis is not enough, deionization filters can be added for ultra high purity water!

The process used for removal of all dissolved salts from water is referred to as deionization or demineralization. Deionizers (DI) remove both cations
and anions, releasing hydrogen ions (H+) in exchange for the former, and hydroxyl ions (OH-) for the latter. The hydrogen and hydroxyl ions subsequently
combine to form pure water. Mixed-bed deionizers produce water containing the lowest ionic concentrations. These combinations are most useful at the final polishing stage of the purification process.

Our RainDance H2O RO/DI Purification Packages have been built to include our stainless steel wall mount reverse osmosis systems and ultra high purity > 18 Megohm deionizer cartridge to accommodate light to high demand water applications. Our TSM-RO systems are a perfect addition to any Post DI water systems and can increase the DI cartridge lifespan. For low Total Organic Carbon (TOC) applications, reverse osmosis can significantly reduce levels to allow the DI polishing system to remove the final trace amounts.

RO / DI Sizing: Keep in mind that when we refer to an RO's gallon per day (gpd) capacity – we mean what the unit can produce in a 24 hour period. So, you want to make sure you do not under size the RO system. For example a 400gpd system will provide approximately 200 gallons every 12 hours.
