- Payment is due in accordance with the terms of each invoice. Except as otherwise agreed to in writing, payment is due in full. We accept: Checks, Money Orders, Wire Transfers, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards. Note: We do not accept credit card payments for orders outside the US. All international orders must be paid by wire transfers only. Canadian customers and International orders - we charge ONLY for shipping; you are responsible for any duty, tax, or any other additional charge.
RainDance Water Systems Shipping Details:
All products are shipped using an independent shipping company including US Postal, UPS, FedEx, or Freight Carrier. Shipping companies are not affiliated with RainDance Water Systems. Residential products are typically shipped within 1-3 business days with an estimated delivery time of 5 to 10 business days unless noted otherwise. Commercial water treatment systems are typically shipped within 1 to 3 weeks with the exception of our more complex systems or systems requiring customizing. RainDance Water Systems is not liable for any failure to deliver or delay in the delivery of any merchandise due to any cause beyond our control.
Shipping Note: If your shipping address cannot accept deliveries from a certain carrier, e.g. US Postal, UPS, FedEx, etc., please let us know and provide an alternative shipping address on your order form or by emailing us at [email protected]. If an item is shipped and returned to us as non-deliverable there may be an additional shipping charge to re-ship the item to you.
Tracking and carrier information are provided to you by email after your order ships. Most systems requiring delivery by freight carrier are packaged in a heavy duty appliance carton and placed on a custom fabricated wooden pallet and secured to the pallet with strong plastic bands. We expect your system to be delivered to you complete and packaged as described above. If you note any abnormalities or damage to your shipment you must note on the Bill of Lading (BOL) to be able to file a claim if needed. When you receive your merchandise please open all boxes immediately and check the contents. Missing items cannot be verified after 7 days from date of delivery.
Free Shipping:
RainDance Water Systems offers Free Shipping within the Continental US on a wide variety of products to eliminate surprise shipping fees. Free Shipping includes standard ground shipping by USPS and UPS or curbside by Freight Carrier. Some heavy or bulky items like whole house water filters, water softeners, and well water filters are trucked-shipped to a street address only (no PO Boxes).
Contact us prior to ordering if you have any questions about how your order will be shipped. Freight carriers are instructed to call you before delivery to set a day and time window when someone will be available to accept the delivery. Any additional delivery requests will need to be handled between you and the shipping carrier. The carrier will deliver curbside where a large freight truck can access and turn around. If the carrier determines the delivery point is not accessible they will deliver to the nearest access point such as the end of your driveway or road. In some cases the carrier will let you pick up the system at their closest terminal if your road cannot be accessed.
Redirecting A Shipment: If you need to redirect a shipment due to a wrong address or inaccessible address please contact your carrier to discuss the new shipping address and related charges. You will be responsible for any additional freight costs once your order has shipped.
Refusing Delivery: If you refuse delivery of your product due to visible or suspected damage you must notate this on the bill of lading and file a claim with the carrier directly. If you refuse delivery because the carrier cannot accommodate your driveway you will be responsible for any additional freight costs to return or redirect the shipment.
**Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and Outside the USA: Contact us for a shipping quote to your location. If we cannot ship direct we will ship your order to a freight forwarder of your choice located in the continental US free of charge.
Expedited Shipping:
Certain products such as replacement filters, consumables, and parts may qualify for expedited shipping. Please contact us if you are interested in expedited shipping so we can provide you with shipping options and costs if applicable. Heavy or bulky items including residential and commercial water treatment systems cannot be expedited.
Storage:
Once your equipment is ready to ship we will be more than happy to store any merchandise you purchase for up to 1 week while you make arrangements for delivery. After 7 days there may be a storage fee assessed for this service. Please let us know at the time of your order if you will need storage for your equipment.
Claims Policy:
RainDance Water Systems is not responsible for damage or loss incurred during shipping. Check shipments for damage before acceptance. We advise all customers to make note on the bill of lading that there may be concealed damage. Consignee is responsible for filing a claim with the freight carrier for any and all damage or loss. If the consignee signs for a delivery and does not note any damages, it will be the customer's responsibility to file a claim directly with the carrier. Once a claim has been filed we can provide replacements as needed.

RainDance Water Systems Returns Policy:
RainDance Water Systems listed products may be returned within 7 days of receiving the product. Please contact us immediately after receiving your order if you need to return the product. As part of our mission to provide the highest quality equipment to our customers, we do not sell Used, Rebuilt, or Refurbished Products. Because of this, products must be returned brand new (never used) and in perfect condition with all manufacturer's packaging. Returns are subject to up to a 30% restocking fee and must be returned freight prepaid. Freight collect returns will not be accepted. If you refuse delivery to have the product returned, you will be responsible for any freight return charges and subject to a restocking fee. We do not accept returns for products that have been used, altered, or otherwise changed from the original condition it was received in.

Items that you have installed or are not brand new and/or missing any of the manufacturer's packaging cannot be returned. Special items that have been specially manufactured for your order, such as commercial, industrial, and custom whole house systems, may not be returned.
Important: RainDance Water Systems MUST be notified in writing by email: [email protected] before any returns including those for warranty consideration. Once this information has been reviewed we will then contact you with our shipping address for returns, warranty parts, and exchanges.
Order Cancellation:
If you need to cancel your online order simply contact us by phone, live chat, or email as soon as possible so we can go over your cancellation options. We understand that receiving your order as soon as possible is important so we strive to ensure that your order is processed and shipped as quickly as possible. Because of this, your cancellation window may be small depending on the size of your order. Small orders including consumables or replacement parts ship out the fastest to get your system back in operation and allow only a 30 minute cancellation window from the time of the order.
Orders made with credit cards will incur a 3% cancellation fee. Orders that are canceled after the allotted time up to 24 hours may be subject up to a maximum 20% cancellation fee. Additional fees may be charged depending upon the level of completion of system or if any special parts have been ordered. Orders that have been shipped cannot be cancelled. Deposits placed on customer approved and processed custom orders are non-refundable. If your order has been shipped and you refuse delivery, you will be responsible for any freight return charges and may be subject to additional fees. Warranties cover the replacement of an item due to defects determined to be from the manufacturer. In some cases the manufacturer may offer to repair the item instead of replacing. Warranties are covered from the original purchase date and can be transferred between owners.
RainDance Water Systems offers exclusive warranty transfers from one customer to another after the original purchase. If you move and leave your RainDance Water Systems water treatment equipment, your warranty is fully transferable to the new owner. No Extra Fees!

All parts claimed to be defective under warranty are to be returned, freight prepaid, for inspection, unless RainDance Water Systems elects to waive the return of parts. We will require a complete description with pictures detailing the failure of the defective part sent to us via email. An RGA number (return goods authorization) is required prior to returning any warranty item; any item returned without an RGA number will not be accepted. We offer the following warranty procedures to complete the warranty claim:
Standard Warranty Procedure:
Once your returned part arrives at the warehouse it will be inspected by the manufacturer for defects and determined for approval under warranty. If the item is approved under warranty a replacement item will be shipped to you as soon as possible. If the item is not approved under warranty the original item will be shipped back to you. The time frame for manufacturer inspection, warranty approval, and shipment can extend from days to weeks at the discretion of the manufacturer. Please contact us if you have any questions during your warranty claim.
RainDance Fast Track Warranty Procedure:
We know that your water system is a valuable part of your home and it hurts when it is out of production. To eliminate the downtime experienced by standard warranty procedures we offer the option to fast-track your replacement part and get your system back up and running quickly. When a part is determined to be non-functional after discussions with our technical support team, we can ship out a replacement part immediately to swap out with the original part. We may require a deposit to be placed on the new part before shipping which covers the cost of the part until the warranty is processed. Once you have the new part is installed you will ship the original part to us for manufacturer inspection and approval for warranty. When the warranty is approved your deposit will be refunded to you in the full amount. If the part is deemed not defective by the manufacturer the deposit will not be refunded and is considered a purchase of the new part that was sent. In most cases we will send the original part back to you to keep as a spare unless otherwise specified.
RainDance Water Systems offers exclusive warranty transfers from one customer to another after the original purchase. If you move and leave your RainDance Water Systems water treatment equipment, your warranty is fully transferable to the new owner. No Extra Fees!

- Defects not reported to us within the applicable warranty period;
- Damage caused by acts of nature or problems resulting from abuse, misuse, negligence or accident;
- Problems resulting from failure to comply with installation, operation, or maintenance instructions or drawings, or improper installation, operation or maintenance;
- Failure to operate an item in accordance with the limitations stated on the product label;
- Noncompliance with applicable codes, and ordinances including without limitation, plumbing codes;
- Unauthorized alteration of the item or failure of an item caused by such alteration or by unauthorized repairs and costs to repair or adjust the item due to unauthorized alteration or use of improper parts, equipment, or materials;
- Damage or failure of a product or part caused by external impact, friction, wear, chemical attack, or debris build-up on wear parts including but are not limited to: pistons, piston rods, seals, spacers, and brine valves on all piston operated valves, and parts requiring replacement under recommended maintenance procedures, such as filter housings, o-rings and gaskets;
- Damage caused by faulty distribution systems or exposure of plastic surfaces to incompatible lubricants or sealants;
- Valves exposed to excessive levels of the following list of contaminants require maintenance as part of a yearly service schedule:
- a) Chlorine or chloramines: > 4mg/l;
- b) Iron bacteria/ Sulfur reducing bacteria;
- c) pH: < 6 or > 9;
- d) Excessive iron, manganese, sediment/sand over our listed parameters;
- Debris build-up, fouling, or scaling on items that may require maintenance or cleaning during the warranty period due to water conditions;
- Damage due to impacts, corrosive liquids, gases, or chemicals;
- Damage due to hydro-pneumatic or pneumatic use; and
- Shipping and labor to install warranted parts and service and trip charges including mileage are the responsibility of the system owner.

Warranty Information
The Limited RO Warranty extends to the original purchaser of the system. This warranty covers all parts and factory labor needed to repair any RainDance Water Systems provided item that proves to be defective in material, workmanship, or factory preparation. The warranty applies for the first full year from date of purchase. Items subject to normal maintenance, such as o-rings, filter elements, membranes, etc. are not covered under this warranty. Items replaced under warranty will be warranted for a period of one year from the date of return shipment of the repaired or replacement unit to the owner.

The Limited RO Warranty does not cover malfunctions of your unit due to misuse, alteration, lack of regular maintenance, misapplication, tampering, experimental process, or operating at too high a recovery. In addition, damage to the unit due to fire, accident, negligence, act of God, or events beyond the control of RainDance Water Systems are not covered by this warranty.
RainDance Water Systems warrants the membranes per the manufacturers’ warranty. These warranties generally cover faulty material and workmanship for anywhere from 1 to 3 years. Membrane fouling or hydrolysis / erosion will normally not be covered. The manufacturers’ warranty of elements selected will be provided on demand.
RainDance Water Systems warrants all items supplied by outside vendors, that are used as part of the system provided, per the manufacturer’s warranties. These warranties generally cover faulty material and workmanship for 1-10 years as specified.
INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
RainDance Water Systems will not assume the responsibility for payment of incidental or consequential damages, such as lost time, inconvenience, damage to personal property, loss of revenue, commercial losses, postage, travel, telephone expenditures, or other losses of this nature, which result from failure of this unit to comply with expressed or implied warranties.
OWNER’S WARRANTY RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the provisions of this warranty, the owner is expected to timely perform regular maintenance on the unit, as explained in the Operating and Maintenance Guide. Neglect, improper maintenance, abuse, or unapproved modifications may invalidate this warranty. Should the unit develop a defect or otherwise fail to perform within the provisions of this warranty, you must notify RainDance Water Systems directly in order to process your claim in a timely manner. A Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) number must be obtained from RainDance Water Systems. Include the RGA number, with an explanation of the observed defect, with the item being returned. Items returned under the RGA will be reviewed by RainDance Water Systems or forwarded to the original manufacturer for evaluation. Items returned to RainDance Water Systems must be sent prepaid.
Shipping and labor to install warranted parts and service and trip charges including mileage are the responsibility of the system owner.
Return Policy & Cancellations
Whole House Reverse Osmosis Systems, Commercial Reverse Osmosis Systems, Seawater Desalination Systems, and Nanofiltration Systems orders can be changed or canceled for any reason within 24 hours of the order date. After 24 hours, orders cannot be exchanged, canceled, or returned. Whole house & commercial reverse osmosis, sea water desalination, and nanofiltration system orders cannot be canceled after payment or deposit has been received.

The Limited RO Warranty extends to the original purchaser of the system. This warranty covers all parts and factory labor needed to repair any RainDance Water Systems provided item that proves to be defective in material, workmanship, or factory preparation. Also, a water analysis report sent to us may identify a compound such as iron but not mention its form. Iron exists in at least four (4) forms and each one must be treated differently. The form that iron has one month may morph the next to something requiring new settings or even additional equipment. Other things in the water such as pH, hardness, color, bacterial level, total dissolved solids, manganese and odor also change.
By providing as much information as possible at the time of purchase, we solve your water problem at least 99% of the time. If something changes, we are there to assist you with adjustments and to provide the items necessary to account for the changes. We do not, however, accept the return of any equipment for reasons other than proven freight damages or a major component failure that our engineers feel are best handled by equipment replacement.
