The RainDance line of low waste whole house well water reverse osmosis systems are available from 400gpd up to 12000gpd - all RO systems incorporate a recirculation valve which conserves water and allows for less water going down the drain. *Typical recovery for these systems are 50% (1 gallon of pure water to 1 gallon of waste water) up to 70% (2 gallons of pure water to 1 gallon of waste water). Most of our competitors advertise higher waste water and a lower recover of only 33%  *The amount of waste water can be determined by your water chemistry.

All of our well water reverse osmosis systems are manufactured to be water efficient using the latest up to date membrane solutions software which includes expected recovery, waste water, permeate, concentrate water and operational pressure.​

  • Microprocessor-based Controller: Monitors several functional conditions and regulates operation of the high pressure pump and control valves. The controller is connected to sensors which, depending on their state, allow the cyclic production of purified water or prevent operation due to abnormal conditions. The standard configuration of the controller monitors feed water supply pressure for minimum level, product water storage tank level for system start/stop conditions and product water conductivity for maximum set point value and for digital front panel display. Additional optional parameters that the controller is capable of monitoring include main pump high pressure set point, low feed water tank level and membrane flush cycle occurrence and duration. Front panel buttons and digital display allow operator adjustment of set points and flush parameters. 
  • Operating Parameters: Max TDS-5000ppm; Total iron is less than 0.3ppm; Manganese is less than 0.05ppm; Water hardness below 5 gpg; Chlorine less than 0.1ppm. *Production rate is based on input water temperature of 25 C (77 F). If your water is colder production will be lower.
  • Additional Pretreatment: Iron and Manganese pretreatment may be required to protect the RO system from premature fouling and to maintain optimum performance. If iron and manganese treatment is required please contact us for options.

​Antiscalant Injection System - 100% proven salt-free hard water pre-treatment to protect and prolong the life of RO membranes by reduction of scaling and fouling effects from hard water. Antiscalant injection method is preferable to brine regenerating softeners as it is lower maintenance, economical, and is perfect for areas of the country that have chloride discharge limits. The antiscalant formulation has been certified by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) under ANSI/NSF Standard 60 for use in producing potable water.

​​Separate Remineralizing & pH Neutralizing System – Designed to keep your RO water non-corrosive and protect any copper plumbing. This calcite/corosex system adds back a small amount of calcium and magnesium minerals to enhance the water taste for people who prefer drinking mineral water. This is designed to effectively neutralize acidity and raise the pH of the water. System comes pre-loaded with remineralizing media to save time, money, and headache! This system easily installs prior to the storage tank.

​Note: We do not use blending valves with our whole house reverse osmosis systems as they add contaminants back to your water supply which could be potentially dangerous. For example, our RO system will remove the majority of arsenic and other contaminants but it would not take much feed water blended in with the purified water to kick arsenic and other impurity levels back up. For this reason alone we offer a separate pH remineralizer and not a blending valve!

Tank Location: If the tank is at the same level as the system (not upstairs or way up a hill) 50' away is a practical limit. Upgrading to 3/4" PVC instead of 1/2" tubing or pipe could extend it up to 100' away if needed.
