The Twin Alternating Iron Max has two tanks for filtering iron, manganese and hydrogen sulfide gas in your well water. Water is filtered in one tank while the other is in a standby mode. When the filtering capacity of the first tank is reached, the system automatically switches tanks. The first tank is then cleaned. This cycle is repeated when the second tank reaches its capacity point. Perfect for the home or business the Twin Alternating Iron Max can treat up to 12ppm of ferrous and ferric iron, 5ppm of manganese and 3ppm of h2s. The perfect choice for high water use households, high iron or where continuous well water treatment is desired.

For sulfur reducing bacteria removal we recommend chlorinating your well before installing this system. This is a fairly simple process in which we will supply easy to follow step by step instructions.
The Iron Max can effectively filter up to 12ppm of ferrous and ferric iron and up to 5ppm manganese and reduce the levels to below the EPA Secondary maximum limit (0.3ppm for iron and 0.05ppm for manganese). In most cases they are filtered down to trace or non-detectable levels.
