Hard Water is one of the most common complaints with city treated water sources. Symptoms of hard water are soap scum in the bath tub, shower, sinks and hard water spots on faucets and fixtures. Hard water calcium and magnesium minerals prevent soaps form lathering and react with soaps and detergents to form an insoluble, sticky residue that's difficult to rinse from bathtubs, sinks, faucets and fixtures. The RDWS-MWS home & commercial Business water softener series is a salt regenerated self-backwashing system that automatically removes the trapped contaminants within the filter bed and washes them down the drain. This is accomplished with a digital electronic control valve that is mounted on top of the water softener.This valve is controlled by an electronic meter, that calculates the amount of water being used. Once the meter reaches x amount of gallons, It then initiates the backwash cycle that cleans the bed of filtration media and resets it for the next period of filtration.
