Whole House RainDancePLUS-14 Large Home Package Specifications
The RainDancePLUS-14 includes two high performance systems in one convenient package: our large capacity water softener specially designed for both city water & well water sources and our maintenance-free automatic backwashing carbon filter. Combine these two systems and you have a well-rounded dependable whole house filtration system.
The RainDancePLUS-14 includes two high performance systems in one convenient package: our large capacity water softener specially designed for both city water & well water sources and our maintenance-free automatic backwashing carbon filter. Combine these two systems and you have a well-rounded dependable whole house filtration system.
These systems are self-backwashing filters that automatically remove the trapped contaminants within the filter bed and washes them down the drain. This is accomplished with a digital electronic control valve that is mounted on top of the filter tank. The water softener is controlled by an electronic meter that calculates the amount of water being used. Once the meter reaches x amount of gallons, it then initiates the backwash cycle that cleans the bed of filtration media and resets it for the next period of filtration. The carbon filter is controlled by a timer valve that sets the frequency of backwashing for optimum performance.
