This blog will walk you through a step-by-step guide to set up your Brew Master RO system, ensuring optimal performance.

How The RainDance Brew Master RO Package Works
Pressurized water from your city treated or well water source first enters the attached dual prefilter cartridge system. This pre-filtered water then enters the RO water purification system. The purified RO water will begin filling the near-by storage tank. If the optional TDS blending valve is used, prefiltered water taken after the prefilter system and before the RO purification is blended into the storage tank. Water will continue to fill the storage tank until the included tank float switch closes and shuts the entire system off. When there is a demand for water the repressurization delivery pump is activated and draws RO water from the storage tank to your taps. If enough water is used to the point where the float switch is reopened, the RO system is automatically reactivated and begins to replace the RO water in the tank that has been depleted.

1.Pretreatment System: To extend the life of the membrane a water softener, iron filter, or other prefilter may be needed to provide protection to RO membranes.
2. Dual Prefilter Assembly: Integrated Sediment, Rust, and Chlorine/Organic Chemical Prefiltration
3. RO System: High Capacity Wall Mount Reverse Osmosis System available in 400, 800, 1,200, and 1,500gpd capacities – Provides more effective contaminant removal on all types of water sources.
4. Atmospheric Product Storage Tank: Tank provides on-demand purified water to the building. Includes float switch and float to shut RO system off when tank is full.
5. Delivery Pump: Draws water from storage tank and delivers high flow purified water to all taps.
6. Optional UV System: A post UV system can be added here to disinfect water before entering the building.

​Step 1: Reverse Osmosis System Installation
​Proper installation is critical for seamless operation. Follow these steps:

1. Placement
   • Install the unit indoors.
   • Mount on a wall or shelf for stability.
2. Prefilter Assembly
   • If wall-mounted, attach the dual prefilter directly to the RO system.
   • For shelf-mounted units, position the prefilter nearby.
3. Plumbing Connections
   • Ensure the water supply is off. Drain the system by opening taps.
   • Connect the supplied quick-connect tubing:
     • White Feed Water Tubing: From main water line to the prefilter inlet.
     • White Prefilter Tubing: From prefilter outlet to the RO unit feed.
     • Blue Product Water Tubing: From the RO product connector to the post remineralizer inlet.
     • Yellow Drain Tubing: From the RO drain connector to an approved drain.
4. Optional Bypass
   • Install a 3-valve bypass for uninterrupted water during maintenance.
5. Storage Tank
   • Place the product water storage tank near the RO unit. Connect the float switch wiring to the tank.
6. Power and Startup
   • Plug the RO system into a dedicated outlet. Turn on the feed water supply.

​Step 2: TDS Blending Valve Installation
The pre-installed TDS blending valve and monitor help fine-tune water quality:

1. Blending Mechanism
   • A needle valve combines prefiltered water with RO-purified water.
2. TDS Monitoring
   • Sensors track unfiltered and blended water TDS levels.
   • Use the valve knob to adjust TDS as per your brewing requirements.
3. Usage
   • Open the valve for blending; close it to stop. Monitor the TDS levels to maintain precision.

​Step 3: Storage Tank Delivery Pump Installation
For continuous water flow, install the delivery pump:

1. Placement
   • Position the pump near the storage tank on a solid base.
2. Connection
   • Connect the pump’s inlet port to the tank outlet.
   • Connect the outlet port to the building’s main plumbing line.
3. Prime and Power
   • Prime the pump before use. Plug it into an appropriate outlet.

​Optional Equipment Setup

1. Install the pretreatment unit near a drain and power source.
2. Connect to the RO system using supplied fittings and tubing.
3. Add brine and set up the pretreat lockout switch to prevent untreated water from entering the RO.

Post UV Disinfection System

1. Mount the UV chamber vertically for optimal performance.
2. Connect the pump outlet to the UV inlet, and the UV outlet to the main plumbing line.
3. Insert the UV lamp and power on the system.
